2. What data we collect

When you use My MS Path, we collect:

  • Your name and email address (when you create an account)
  • Your age (entered during the check-in)
  • Health information you choose to share: MS relapses, symptoms, and impacts on daily life over the previous 6 months
  • Your check-in responses and calculated scores
  • The date and time of each check-in completion
  • Your communication and preference choices, including whether you want to hear about future research or support opportunities

We do not collect any data you do not actively enter. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising technology.

3. Why we collect it

We collect this data to:

  • Create and manage your My MS Path account
  • Save your check-in results so you can track changes over time
  • Send you a confirmation email when you save your results
  • Allow you to download a printable summary for your care team
  • To respect your communication preferences
  • If you choose to opt in, to contact you about relevant research, support, or related future opportunities
  • If you choose to opt in, to use anonymised and aggregated insights from responses to improve the platform and support future research-related initiatives

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the My MS Path service.

4. Health data

The health information you enter is self-reported and used only to generate your check-in summary. It is not shared with any third party, including healthcare providers, without your explicit action (such as downloading and sharing your own report).

My MS Path does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition. The check-in is a self-report tool designed to support conversations with your care team.

We will only use your information for research or support opportunity contact if you have explicitly opted in. Any use of anonymised and aggregated insights is done only where individual users are not identifiable.

5. Who has access to your data

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (a cloud database provider). Confirmation emails are sent using Resend (an email delivery service). Both providers are bound by data processing agreements and applicable data protection law.

No other third parties have access to your personal data.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your account and check-in data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data (you can do this directly in the app via your history page)
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
